Hog Island Audubon Camp
UPDATE: Hog Island Maine Osprey Cam ~ Bierre Grabs Fish from Dad 7.26.16
"Bierre (HB) is 50 days old today, followed by Eric HC - 48 days and Spirit HD 46 days old. Steve arrived with another fish and Bierre gets right in there and grabs the fish and self feeds. Good job Bierre! Later Spirit gets the fish and dines too. Lots of wing exercises occurring now - we should be seeing a possible fledge soon. Thank you for watching!" Bald Eagle vs. Osprey
"Bald Eagles routinely harass Ospreys and steal their fish. We know of several instances in which Bald Eagles have killed Ospreys, but generally Ospreys are pretty good at staying out of harm's way. " - by Kate Davis
